Original Picture from : This layout actually was something I really loved. The image itself was a personal scan I had picked up from a postcard at Kinokuniya. I bought the postcard with the sold intention of scanning it and making a layout out of this image. I tried to keep to the old theme colors of the layout beforehand, which was blue, red, and purple with black. These colors contrasted themselves really well, and mixed greatly together. I aimed to make them walk on ripples and used just regular circles and ovals to aim towards this. I stuck the image on there first, and then used the smudge tool to clean the scan up a bit. Then, I pieced together that background shape that borders the content area. I made this solid color so it would be a direct contrast against the colors. Then, I added the Sakura blossoms with some outer glow and opacification. The background though, seemed really plain, and I thought it would maybe look nice to expand the sides by putting the light colors in the background. It seemed really fun for me to do that. Then, the ripples went under their feet with some drop shadow properties. The navigation I was originally going to put sideways on the black border, but instead, I went ahead and stuck it on the bottom. This gave me a limited amount of space for links, so hence I came up with the idea of condensing site navigation and arranging it slightly differently. This would mean using list and making it look nice, which I did. Following this, I stuck the title above the black, making it a bit crooked to give it more body. As for navigation, it was plainly put underneath, but this looked really out of place. Hence, I went ahead and tilted it sideways and added the overlaps on the arrow scrollbar with Shirangan. This was really nice.

Description : Itachi and Sasuke standing against a black background with repeating lines on the side. Sakura red blossoms falling from on top, with some dark colors. A more scary outlook on their relationship with a theme of blue, red, and purple against black. Kind of horror-film like.
