Process :
The process was a bit of a complicated one. I really went through a lot of versions of this layout to get here. The basic first step was to take a printer and vector it for a logo. This was what I did first, I used an old printer, spiced it up a bit in Illustrator with tracing, and then imported into Adobe Photoshop to make it the main logo. After that, I mixed and matched colors to get to this blue/green/white/gray theme which I used repeatedly in the layout. The navigation was a bit tough because it was my first time using lists that were only images, and it was complicated for this reason, but it really turned out well.

The layout itself had many repeating backgrounds, so I had to make sure I worked with div properties that were set at width: 100% with wrapping divs around them. This was complicated, and as it turns out, in IE it floats to the left anyways, which didn’t bother me since the layout still works. The main links really worked out nicely and I was experimenting with the WEB 2.0 type graphics, if anyone know what that means (gradients and so forth, along with accessibility). It turned out to be successful and I just have to wait for server info to put this up permanently.

Description :
A nice business site layout with a printer on the top with some basic ads and links on the bottom. Pretty simple overall, but it turned out really appealing and pretty with some nice colors that blended together very well.
