Process :
So, after constantly experimenting with gradients and so forth, I finally found a general line that I could be original with and regain professionality. This was a try at both of these. Tired of waiting for slow loading layouts, I decided to make a new skin for the-oro that was easy to navigate, understand, and condensed the links into a format that was better for everyone to navigate. So, I came up with this one. Those images on the top weren’t actually the same color. I live traced them into simple black and white, imported them into Photoshop as shape layers, edited the size to fit everyone, and then changed the color for the shape. It was a really simple process, but getting the vectors perfect was pretty hard for me. Afterwards, it sort of just unfolded out. First scared that the layout was really simple, I was going to add more to it but refrained. This turned out to be for the best, since the content fit in very nicely and formatted itself to a way that was to my liking. I really liked how it turned out. To match, I made an index page, which I was contemplating putting up or not, since the scar turned out blue. But then I figured it was just a color theme and didn’t really matter. The overlaps for them also matched with chibis.
