Process :
This was a commissioned work for a good friend of mine. She is a photographer, so I made this website so she could house her photographs and created a textpattern tie-in for ease. It came out really nice, and although simple, I kept it so because the focus was to be on her photographs. I think it turned out pretty well though overall.

The layout itself wasn’t too hard to do, but like usual coding took a while. Overall, it took about 3 hours of the design and then the rest of it. The little butterfly on the logo was reused from Spirited, but the colors switched around a bit. Gradients turned out really well as well. Before, the layout was pink and blue, but upon request I changed them to purple and blue, though I liked Pink better personally. Lightbox was added to it, for the images that popped up. Very simple, but it has a calm feeling to it.

Description :
A really simple layout with gradients across and a small logo with recent pictures on the side. Sub Photography albums and sub links appear on the right hand side with purple text overlaps. Main navigation located directly under the featured images.
